"He was on that disaster air raid on Schweinfurt Germany Oct.14 1943. Took part in D-Day invasion, bombing mission. On one raid his plane on fire bailed out at 24,000 feet. After war he moved from Bayonne to Chicago to be with his wife whom he met while training in Chicago. He was a rabid soccer fan and player in his youth.."
